SURVIVOR IMPROV

ABOUT US:

Survivor Improv is the unique concept of using improvisational theatre games, like those made popular by the TV series, “Whose Line Is It Anyway” and combining them with the always trendy standard of voting people off ala American Idol, Last Comic Standing and, of course, Survivor.  Our four performers pull out all the stops to win your affections (and your vote) in this no holds barred improv-athon where you the audience get to decide who stays and who goes home. 

HERE’S HOW IT WORKS:

ROUND ONE:     2-4 improvisational games (depending upon time allotment) are performed with some audience participation.     Performers encourage the audience to shout out suggestions when asked.  Games may include some favorites from Whose Line is it Anyway as well as other theater shtick.

At the end of the round, the audience gets to vote off whichever performer they wish; to which the performer will sing his or her swan song and then die as per the audience’s suggestion.

ROUND TWO:      Much of the same.

ROUND THREE:   This is the critical phase where the last two improvisers are left standing.  We will usually need a bit more help from the audience at this juncture calling on some volunteers to help us out. 

At the end of this round though the audience gets to vote for the winner, not the loser.  We like to end things on a high note.  Depending upon time, one last improvisational game featuring the entire cast may be played.

This particular show is easily modified to your desired time frame.  Need two 20 minute sets?  We can do that.  Or maybe one or two hours of non-stop fun with us?  We’re flexible*.
